MUSYCA sings at MPTF Telethon on KTLA 5

MUSYCA Children’s Choir will perform at the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF) Telethon, broadcasting on KTLA 5. This special event supports MPTF’s ongoing efforts to provide essential assistance to entertainment industry professionals in need. ​​

HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
December 24: MUSYCA Children's Choir will perform in the annual LA County Holiday Celebration at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

The show will be televised live on PBS Socal 3-4 pm.

YOUTH ART COMPETITION
MUSYCA Children's Choir invites entries for its annual Art Competition. This year's theme is TBA. The Art submission deadline is April 5.
​
The esteemed judges for the competition are Anna Krasner, Vida Liu, Silvia Pompeii, and Mark Walsh. All works will be displayed at the 2025 Festival of the Arts on May 3, 2025.
PIANO AND VOICE COMPETITION

MUSYCA invites young pianists and vocalists to take part in its 2024 Festival of the Arts.

The Festival is open for Children and Youth, ages 5-21.​
Registration and Video submissions are due on April 5, 2025.
​
We are accepting online submissions for the preliminary round. Festival performances and the art show will be held in person. on May 3, 2025.

MUSYCA is California's leading performing arts organization for youth, which appeared at the world's top venues and collaborated with America's preeminent artists. Our televised performances on NBC's The Voice and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards have been seen in hundreds of millions households worldwide. The choir sings in film soundtracks, including the acclaimed movie scores for Boy Erased (Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe) and Valerian (Luc Besson, Rihanna). Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities include performances at the Staples Center, Microsoft Theatre, Carnegie Hall and The White House, concert tours to Argentina and Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, Austria and Czech Republic, France (Notre Dame de Paris concert), Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The choir collaborated with composers Michael Giacchino, Jeff Kryka, Thomas Parish, Jamie Christopherson, Joe Hisaishi, Nuno Malo, Thomas Parisch, Dan Romer, Arthur Rubinstein, Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, recording artists Kanye West (DONDA), Teddy Walton, Ella Mai, Camila Cabello, Danny Brown, Good Charlotte, Hollywood Undead, Newsboys, Night Club, Nikita Presnyakov, Danny!, Princess Superstar, Rihanna, Scooter, Raury, Alpine Universe, Christopher Cross, Dave Koz and Luke Christopher; producers DJ Mustard, Teddy Walton, 88 Keyes, Mark Needham, Malay Nathan Lim and Alexander Palmer (Fuego). MUSYCA singers starred in "Black Friday Orphans: The Musical" produced by Funny or Die and worked with the Center Theatre Group of Los Angeles.
