MUSYCA Children's Choir performed in the concert production of Joe Hisaishi Symphonic Concert: Music from the Studio Ghibli Films of Hayao Miyazaki, which was held at the Microsoft Theater @ L.A. Live on September 21.

Joe Hisaishi is the music composer who collaborated with director Hayao Miyazaki, writing music for his animated feature films.

The concert featured musical scores and film montages from Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and Ponyo. It was wonderful to work with our great colleagues, the Hollywood Film Orchestra and Angeles Chorale, conducted by maestro Hisaishi himself.
