MUSYCA Children's Choir recently returned from a 2-week concert tour of Spain. Delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour was two years in the making, after being originally scheduled for the summer of 2020.
The group visited Barcelona, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Toledo, and Madrid, as well as Costa del Sol. Everywhere we went, we encountered wonderful people, spectacular sights, and beautiful works of art.
The highlights of the tour were our collaborative concerts with the local choirs in Barcelona, Cordoba, and at a castle-palace of Magalia in Las Navas del Marqués outside of Madrid. Thank you to our amazing and welcoming host choirs -- the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona Vocal Ensembles, Cordoba's Escolanía-Escuela de Canto Infantil Cajasur, and Youth Chorus of Madrid (Coro de Jóvenes de Madrid).
Spain 2022 tour was coordinated by MUSYCA's Dr. Anna Krendel and organized by the Classical Movements.
