MUSYCA Children’s Choir Announces Summer 2025 Concert Tour of Brazil and Argentina
MUSYCA has announced plans for a highly anticipated concert tour of Brazil and Argentina in the summer of 2025. The tour will see the acclaimed choir performing in Iconic concert locations while exploring the rich cultural heritage of these South American countries.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
The first leg of the tour will take the choir to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s cultural heart. Known for its vibrant culture and stunning natural beauty, Rio is a city where music and rhythm are deeply woven into the fabric of everyday life.
The choir will have the opportunity to visit some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including Sugar Loaf Mountain and the towering Christ the Redeemer statue, which overlooks the entire city.
Choir performances and musical exchanges in Rio will offer the young singers a firsthand experience of Brazil’s lively musical traditions, including an exciting visit to a local Samba School.
Buenos Aires, Argentina
The second part of the tour will bring the choir to Buenos Aires, the cultural capital of Argentina. Often referred to as the “Paris of South America,” Buenos Aires is renowned for its rich artistic history, grand European-style architecture, and the passionate sounds of tango.
While in Buenos Aires, MUSYCA will give performances and participate in a musical workshop, working with an Argentinian composer. Choir members will also have the chance to explore the city’s famous neighborhoods, from the historic Plaza Mayor to the colorful streets of La Boca.
In addition to its urban experiences, the choir’s tour will include a visit to Argentina’s countryside for a traditional Fiesta Gaucho tour, offering a glimpse into the country’s rural traditions.
This mix of urban and rural exploration, combined with performances and musical exchanges, will provide the choir with a deep and immersive experience in both Brazilian and Argentinian culture.
